New Possibilities for the Economic Growth of New Jersey
“This work is helping to close equity gaps by reaching historically underserved adult learners who disproportionately experience stop out and by providing the support they need to succeed,” Secretary Bridges said of the partnership between ReUp and New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE), which launched the nation’s first statewide re-enrollment marketplace. “With more residents prepared with the right skills for the right jobs, in high-demand fields like healthcare and engineering, New Jersey will have a workforce ready to meet the demands of a changing economy.”
Removing barriers and simplifying re-enrollment drives adult learner success at UTSA
The University of Texas at San Antonio saw an opportunity to re-engage adult learners who had stopped out. With ReUp, the university removed barriers, re-enrolling 714 adult learners and recovering $5.8M in tuition.
